If you are a consumer, you are entitled to cancel this contract without stating reasons for such action. The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you, or a third party stated by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods. To exercise your cancellation right you need to inform us, computeruniverse GmbH, Grüner Weg 14, D-61169 Friedberg, Tel.: (+49) (0)6031 7910-0, Fax: (+49) (0)6031 7910-200, email@example.com by way of an unequivocal declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, facsimile or an e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the enclosed Sample cancellation form or complete and forward another unequivocal declaration via our website (RMA form) electronically. If you make use of this option, we shall send you confirmation of receipt of such a cancellation without delay (e.g. by e-mail). Sending the notification of exercising the cancellation right prior to expiry of the cancellation period is deemed sufficient with regard to honouring the cancellation period.
If you cancel this contract, we shall be required to repay to you all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from the fact that you have selected a type of delivery other than the most favourable standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment we shall use the same payment method that you used in your original transaction unless something to the contrary was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances shall we charge you fees for such a repayment.
You are to send the goods back to us, or hand them over to us, without delay and in any case at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The period is deemed honoured if you send the goods prior to expiry of the period of fourteen days. The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by you if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed an amount of € 40.00. Otherwise, returning goods shall be free of charge for you. We shall collect at our cost items from you that are not suitable for shipping as parcels.
You will only be required to pay for a potential loss in value of the goods if such a loss in value is attributable to handling the goods that is not required for a review of the quality, characteristics and proper functioning of the goods.

Return of batteries according to German Battery Law
Any consumer is obligated by law to return old and/or used batteries (rechargable and non-rechargable) according to the German Battery Law. Because some products in our product range include batteries, we´d like to point out the following: Used Batteries (rechargable and non-rechargable) do not belong in the domestic waste. In Germany old batteries can be handed over at the local municipal collecting point for such items or returned to any shop that sells batteries of that sort (please note that other countries may handle it differently!). If you have purchased any batteries from us, you can hand them over in our pick-up desk (legal obligation to take them back).

Information concerning the environment-friendly disposal of electrical equipment and electronic devices according to the law for putting into circulation, returning and the environment-friendly disposal of electrical equipment and electronic devices (ElektroG)
Manufacturers have to label their electrical equipment and electronic devices which have been put into circulation after 23rd November 2005 with a special icon (a crossed out garbage can on wheels) and take them back free of charge (not valid for all countries world wide). We´d like to inform you that such used appliances are not to be disposed of as unsorted municipal solid waste, but must be collected separately and disposed of via the local collecting points or return systems.
Information about delivery times
Delivery times depend on the product and are indicated by explanations next to every product. You will be automatically informed by E-Mail of any delays that may occur following placement of your order; prior to delivery you have the right to cancel or change your order free of charge at any time prior the revocation right takes effect, unless otherwise agreed.
24 months warranty coverage for private customers
Our warranty obligations for private customers are limited to a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase. If a defect occurs within this period, computeruniverse GmbH is entitled to exchange or repair the product at the buyer´s option. In case we are not able to do the repair or if the new product is also defect, the customer is entitled to return the product and get the agreed upon refund or the customer can demand a reduction of the purchase price.
Our warranty obligations for corporate customers and public institutions are limited to a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. If a defect occurs within this period, computeruniverse GmbH has the option to repair the product at no extra charge or to replace the product. Any obvious defects of products or services of computeruniverse GmbH have to be indicated in writing immediately, within 14 days upon receipt of products at the latest. If defects are not indicated in due time, products are considered to be accepted.
This warranty does not cover any equipment which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse or other contingencies beyond the control of computeruniverse GmbH.

Many manufacturers provide a direct warranty service. In these cases, returning the goods to us would unnecessarily slow down the procedure. However, you should contact us prior to making any returns because the above process depends on the goods concerned.
