    During the measurements the average reduction in noise levels from the system in the above example was approximately 6 dB/A (1 to 3). This corresponds to a reduction in the sound energy emitted of 75%! Particularly at high frequencies an NB-Multiframe fan chassis is able to bring about a considerable reduction in sound levels.
