  • schnelle USB3 und Einrichtung sind Esay ! Top !
  • Power schalter (hinten) funktiniert nicht immer
Die externe Festplatte habe ich mir Gekauft, weil ich ein USB3 Medium mit min. 2TB gesucht hatte" und auch gefunden hab" Zur Platte: Die Festplatte war gut verpackt. Das mitgelieferte USB 3.0 Kabel ist etwas kurz. ( kann man aber nachkaufen, wenn man will) überzeugend ist Design und die Verarbeitung. Die Performance ist unter USB 3 genau so wie ich es haben wollte. Stärken - schnelle USB3 und Einrichtung sind einfach. Schwächen: der Power schalter (hinten) wird nach betätigen, nicht immer das tun was man will und die Platte ausschaltet wenn man das will. Da Hilft nur das abziehen des Stromkabel..

  • hübsches Design, viel Speicher für wenig Geld
Die MyBook-Serie von Western Digital überzeugt mich schon länger nicht nur von Design und der Verarbeitung, sondern auch von der darin steckenden Technik her. Die Festplatte wurde gleich vom Server erkannt und läuft seit drei Wochen als Sicherungsmedium anstandslos. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswerte mobile Festplatte für alle Zwecke. Dadurch, dass sie wie ein Buch aussieht, macht sie auch auf einem Schreibtisch einen guten Eindruck.

  • Super Design
  • LED leuchtet dauerhaft bei Anschluss am Hub mit Stromversorgung
Gekauft habe ich die externe Festplatte aufgrund des guten Designs. Bereits 2009 habe ich eine Western Digital Elements Festplatte gekauft und bin heute noch von der Qualität überzeugt. Damals noch edlem Alu-Gehäuse. Zum MyBook: Die Festplatte war gut verpackt. Das mitgelieferte USB 3.0 Kabel ist leider etwas kurz. Jedoch überzeugten das gute Design und die Verarbeitung. Die Datenübertragung liegt bei USB 2.0 bei ca. 23Mbit, USB 3.0 konnte ich bisher noch nicht testen. Im Leerlaufbetrieb und auch bei Datenübertragung ist das WD MyBook sehr leise im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz. Negativ ist mir aufgefallen, dass die LED dauerhaft blinkt sofern die Festplatte an einem USB Hub angeschlossen ist der über eine externe Stromversorgung verfügt. Ist die Festplatte am TV angeschlossen und dieser ausgeschaltet schaltet sich die Festplatte auch komplett aus (LED aus).
