Im Lieferumfang waren alle Kabel enthalten die ich zur Installation benötigte, das sollte für die meisten Konfigurationen der Fall sein. Anschliessen, über DHCP eine IP-Adresse kriegen, und dann über WEB-interface die paar Einstellungen machen. Es ist alles sehr einfach gehalten. Man kommt komplett ohne die mitgelieferte Software aus (wichtig für User von Betriebssystemen die nicht unterstützt werden wie AmigaOS z.B. (hab ich aber nicht getestet)) Mit meinen ISDN Siemens Gigaset gabs keine Probleme. Auch das DSL Modem funzt bei mir perfekt (auch mit Fastpath). Gut wären ein paar mehr Firewall Einstellmöglichkeiten und z.B. eine Möglichkeit die DHCP-Pool-Range einzustellen. Funkionen wie Dyndns sind aber vorhanden. Und die VOIP Möglichkeiten sind auch ausreichend. Das Webinterface ist fast zu einfach gehalten, ein paar mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten wären nicht schlecht. Es fehlt aber nichts Wesentliches. Fazit: Das Gerät hat meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Beim lesen der Spezifikationen war ich nämlich anfangs ein bisschen skeptisch, was sich aber als 100% unbegründet erwies.

Dem gerät liegt alles bei was man zum betrieb und der Erstinstallation benötigt. Somit auspacken und loslegen! Die Installation ist kinderleicht und wird durch einen guten Software-Agenten geführt. Nach ca. 15 Minuten hat man seine Telefonanalge und DSL-Verbindung konfiguriert. Telefonkompatibilität mit meinen bestehenden ISDN und analog Telefongeräten war gegeben. Leider hatte ich innerhalb einer Stunde bis zu 3 DSL Verbindungsabbrüche. Diese Abbrüche fallen bei normaler Internetnutzung nicht auf, bei Onlinespielen sind sie jedoch fatal.Das ganze mag an der FastPath Option liegen, jedoch hatt mein alter DSL Router mit dieser Option keine Probleme und funktioniert ohne Probleme! Alles drin und dran, was wünscht man sich mehr. Einfache Bedienung und Nutzung, nach der Installation sind alle Optionen transparent für den benutzer nutzbar. Fazit: Ich hatte große Erwartungen an die FritzBox, diese wurden mit der Telefonahnalgenfunktion komplett erfüllt. Leider hatte ich große Probleme mit der DSL Verbindungsstabilität, was evtl. einem Defekt oder an meiner FastPath Option gelegen haben mag. Aufgrund der DSL Probleme habe ich die Fritz!Box Fon 5050 zurückgesendet.
