Mit den Lüfteradaptern ist es möglich, die Geräuschentwicklung von Lüftern zu reduzieren. So kann auf einem 60 mm CPU-Kühlkörper ein 80 mm Lüfter eingesetzt oder ein 80 mm Lüfter durch eine 120 mm Variante ersetzt werden. Die geringere Drehzahl bei gleicher Förderleistung führt zur Geräuschreduktion.
