This simple and cost-effective MFP server works with MFP and GDI printers and provides support for print, scan and PC fax (MFP must support PC fax) from a computer connected via the network to the FUS-3100. The FUS-3100 is targeted at groups that need to share multi-function printer on the same network for printing, scanning and PC fax. The USB 2.0 port of the FUS-3100 MFP Server connects to any USB MFP or GDI printer. It is using a brand new technology call Net-USB. The Net-USB allows the MFP server to simulate a direct PC-host connection to the printer, enabling users to install individual printer drivers in order to manage the printer as if it was connected directly the computer. Adapting this brand new technology makes FUS-3100 an excellent MFP (Multi-Function printer) management server. The Web-based and control center utility management interface allows users for quick set-up and configuring of the MFP server.
