Einarbeitung / Installation
   2 plastic sockets are provided for encapsulating the motherboard area around CPU socket (you make a sandwich: bottom plastic socket + motherboard + top plastick socket). This protects the MB and ensures that the cooler will not put force into the MB, but into the plastic sokets.
Need to mention that the bottom plastic socket is slim enough (~7mm?). However this might create some problems if the distance from MB to back steel plate on the case is not big enough (the MB will probably bend a little)
Comes with 2 steel clips, one for AMD, one for Intel. The Intel one is assembled with 2 screws (some force is required for screwing - one has to be somehow carefull not to slip the screwdriver on the motherboard). However, once tightened, the cooler stays rock solid on top of CPU.
The AMD clip requires attaching the clip at one end and putting force at the other end to grab the socket. Somehow requires more space than an Intel MB around the processor area, due to longer and bulkyer clip.
Gave 5/6 due to more demanding skills required during installation .
Kompatibilität
   The plastic sockets fits my Asus Rampage formula - x48 in only 1 position out of 4 possible. This is not a problem, although at the beginning of installation I had big doubts whether it will work or not.
Also the cooler is big, really big: put your hands together, spread your fingers and create a ball by touching your hands only through the tips of your fingers - for average size ppl, IT WILL BE BIGGER THAN THIS!! (90x124x142 mm). So be carefull, you need a midi tower that is wide enough (not suitable for thin cases).
Also it´s heavy (~750 g) - so don´t drop it on your feet, or at least ware some boots!!
It fitted my Thermatake Armor Jr. (aluminium) without problems.
Gave 5/6 due to big size, requiring more space around processor & inside the case.
Funktionsumfang
   Has a fan control gauge, which can be placed outside the case (I put mine on the back, putting the wire through some case holes). At minimal speed, the Zalman fan makes no sound!! This is 1200RPM and unless you are overclocking at extreme, this will keep your cpu cool and relaxed (my e8400 3 GHz must be very happy at 31-33C)
At full speed, it runs at 2800 RPM - expect some noise, but nothing outside the averege.
The copper circular blades around the fan are receiving the heat through 3 copper pipes, twisted in such a manner that they´ll give room for putting correctly the steel clips. Although I worked hard and arranged the cables in the case, touching and hitting several times the blades, they are solid and didn´t bend.

Bedienbarkeit / Nutzung
   Comes with TT cooling grease, which needs to be applied on both cooler and CPU, according to their instructions. When installing, perform the operation fast (30-60 seconds) otherwise the grease will become drier.
The blue white led is very nice, illuminating all the components inside the case.
I´m thinking to buy a window side for my case, since all my components are blueish lighted (TT Armor Jr. front fan, Zalman 9700 Led, Asus audio card AudioFX II)

Erwartungserfüllung / Fazit
   The cooler is very good but it´s not for small/entry level cases as is too big; however will fit today´s serious cases.
It´s adjustable speed is a plus, as one can use for real overclock or just normal operation.
No regrets so far, it exceeded my expectations.

   In der Ausstattung sind sämtliche Adapter für die unterstützten Sockel enthalten. Zusätzlich ist noch ein Dimmer enthalten, über den der Ventilator separat gesteuert werden kann.
Einarbeitung / Installation
   Für die Installation des Kühlkörpers muss das Mainboard ausgebaut werden. Wenn man den Kühlkörper dann aufs Board schraubt und anschließend das Board wieder einbaut, dürfte es keine Probleme geben.
Aussehen / Stil (externe Geräte)
   Dieser riesen Kühler sieht super aus! Je nach Dimmereinstellung leuchtet der Ventilator heller oder Dunkler. Auf der Minimaleinstellung ist der Lüfter kaum zu hören.
Erwartungserfüllung / Fazit
   Ich bin begeistert! Dieser Kühler kühlt meinen QuadCore (läuft auf 2,76GHz) auf ca. 40 grad und ist dabei nur dann zu hören, wenn es sonst keine Schallquellen gibt.
