The rights below apply to private consumers, i.e. to all natural persons making a legal transaction
for a purpose that can be allocated neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional
activity. Entrepreneurs, merchants, businesses and public institutions are subject to the regulations of
the German Commercial Code (HGB).
14 days right to cancel (apply to private consumers) If you are a consumer you may revoke your declaration to conclude a sales contract within a period of fourteen days in textual form (e.g. by letter, E-Mail, facsimile) without stating a reason or - if you received the ordered goods before the term is ending – by returning the goods. The term commences after the receipt of this revocation instruction in textual form, but not until you have received the goods and either until the fulfilment of our duty to supply information according to article 246 sec. 2 in conjunction with sec. 1 para. 1 and 2 IACC (Introductory Act to the German Civil Code) as well as our duties according to sec. 312 e para. 1 BGB in conjuction with article 246 sec. 3 IACC. The timely despatch of the revocation or the goods shall be deemed sufficient for compliance with the revocation term. The revocation shall be addressed to: Grüner Weg 14 D-61169 Friedberg Deutschland/Germany The Online-Return-Form, which provides a straightforward annulment of the contract, is available in the Info&Services-Section of our websites. In the event of effective revocation, the services received by either party shall be returned and any benefits that may have been accrued shall be released. If you are unable to return the received goods either in total or in part or only in deteriorated condition, you shall indemnify computeruniverse GmbH for the loss in value, if applicable. This shall not apply in the event that the deterioration of the surrendered goods is due to the inspection of the goods – as it would have been possible in a shop. However, you can avoid such liability of indemnification for a deterioration due to the utilization of the good as intended if you refrain from using the goods as if you owned them and further refrain from any action that would diminish the value of the goods. Goods capable of being sent by parcel will be on your request collected from you by computeruniverse GmbH or shall be sent back by you at the risk of computeruniverse GmbH. You shall bear the costs of the return shipment if the goods delivered are as ordered and the value of the returned product does not exceed € 40,- or if in case of a higher value of the product you have at the time of the revocation not performed the return service or the agreed partial payment. Otherwise computeruniverse GmbH shall bear in case of a valid revocation the costs for the return shipment respectively the collection including transport insurance. Goods not capable of being sent by parcel will be collected from you by computeruniverse GmbH. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. This time limit begins for you with the despatch of the revocation or the goods and for computeruniverse GmbH with the receipt of the goods. A declaration to conclude a sales contract about audio or video recordings or software may only be revoked if the data carriers are sealed. Software, which accompanies hardware, may only be unsealed, if the software is compulsory to inspect the hardware. If you financed the purchase contract through a consumer loan contract and you revoked your declaration to enter into a purchase contract, you are also no longer bound by the consumer loan contract, if both contracts forms an economic unit. This shall be assumed in particular if we are at the same time the lender for you or if the lender has involved us in the financing of the purchase contract. If the loan has already disbursed to us at the time the revocation becomes effective, the lender of you assumes our rights and duties under the connected and financed contract in relation to you. If you wish to avoid being bound contractually as far as possible, you shall revoke both contracts. Refunds / credit accountRefunds for payments made by credit card are credited to the appropriate account. With this method of payment, other ways of repayment are not supported for reasons of accounting technicalities. With all other methods of payments, refunds are normally paid by bank transfer. However, if you prefer, we can send you a crossed cheque instead. You can of course have the refund amount booked to your credit account to have it available for balancing against future orders. Directions for returning batteries according to §17 of the German Battery Law, as well as the disposal of electrical equipment
Return of batteries according to German Battery Law Any consumer is obligated by law to return old and/or used batteries (rechargable and non-rechargable) according to the German Battery Law. Because some products in our product range include batteries, we'd like to point out the following: Used Batteries (rechargable and non-rechargable) do not belong in the domestic waste. In Germany old batteries can be handed over at the local municipal collecting point for such items or returned to any shop that sells batteries of that sort (please note that other countries may handle it differently!). If you have purchased any batteries from us, you can hand them over in our pick-up desk (legal obligation to take them back). Batteries with hazardous substances are marked with the following symbols: 
Information concerning the environment-friendly disposal of electrical equipment and electronic devices according to the law for putting into circulation, returning and the environment-friendly disposal of electrical equipment and electronic devices (ElektroG) Manufacturers have to label their electrical equipment and electronic devices which have been put into circulation after 23rd November 2005 with a special icon (a crossed out garbage can on wheels) and take them back free of charge (not valid for all countries world wide). We'd like to inform you that such used appliances are not to be disposed of as unsorted municipal solid waste, but must be collected separately and disposed of via the local collecting points or return systems. |

Delivery times depend on the product and are indicated by symbols and explanations next to every product. You will be automatically informed by E-Mail of any delays that may occur following placement of your order; prior to delivery you have the right to cancel or change your order free of charge at any time prior the revocation right takes effect, unless otherwise agreed. computeruniverse GmbH shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract if its performance is impossible due to reasons not attributable to computeruniverse GmbH. Claims for damages cannot be derived from this case. |
| 24 months warranty coverage for private customers |

Our warranty obligations for private customers are limited to a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase. If a defect occurs within this period, computeruniverse GmbH is entitled to exchange or repair the product at the buyer's option. In case we are not able to do the repair or if the new product is also defect, the customer is entitled to return the product and get the agreed upon refund or the customer can demand a reduction of the purchase price. Our warranty obligations for corporate customers and public institutions are limited to a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. If a defect occurs within this period, computeruniverse GmbH has the option to repair the product at no extra charge or to replace the product. Any obvious defects of products or services of computeruniverse GmbH have to be indicated in writing immediately, within 14 days upon receipt of products at the latest. If defects are not indicated in due time, products are considered to be accepted. This warranty does not cover any equipment which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse or other contingencies beyond the control of computeruniverse GmbH. Many manufacturers provide a direct warranty service. In these cases, returning the goods to us would unnecessarily slow down the procedure.
