- Very fast, USB3, noiseless, cool
I did not buy the product here, but I can recommend this product. Enclosure all black plastic, with cooling holes on back and bottom. Stays cool (handwarm) after hours of use. Very fast for a magnetic disk. H2TestW v1.4 speed test: write: 137 MiB/s Read: 112 MiB/s.

ich habe die Seagate Expansion heute erhalten, daher gleich ein Lob an Computeruniverse für die schnelle Abwicklung.
Nun zur Festplatte.
Zubehör ist ausreichend vorhanden(Kabel,Netzteil,Gebrauchsanweisung,...), einrichten muss man die Festplatte nicht, die 3TB stehen sofort zur Verfügung. Anschluss an USB 3.0 oder 2.0 möglich.
Ich hab sie trotzdem nochmal neu initialisiert und formatiert.
Nun zur Katastrophe, die Platte hat nach ganzen 9 Stunden (ja richtig) und ca. 600GByte geschriebenen Daten (große Dateien á ~10GB) angefangen im Schreibvorgang Piepgeräusche zu erzeugen(nicht mechanisch). Dann natürlich erstmal Festplatte aus - man wehrt sich schließlich vorerst psychisch vor dem Unvermeidbaren. Neustart - super, heftiges Piepen geht mit fröhlichem mechanischen(bestens) Klackern einher.
Um meinen offensichtlichen Verdacht nochmals zu bestätigen öffnete ich natürlich CrystalDisk, um mir die HEXwerte zu Gemüte zu führen. Völlig unnötig wie sich herrausstellte, das Programm gab mir prompt ein kleines Popup mit: ACHTUNG Seagate Expansion ST300........ Zustand: "VORSICHT"
Ich dachte tatsächlich dass sämtliche User in den etlichen Foren in Sachen Seagate und hohen Ausfallraten übertreiben. Selbst die 2010er Statistiken sagen mit ca 56% Ausfall dass Seagate, wenn man es ganz zart und subtil ausdrückt Müll ist.
Leute, das passiert wenn man ganz oben bei den Ergebnissen der Preisvergleiche auswählt.
Naja hauptsache ich kann irgendwie meine Daten retten.
