- Schönes handliches Gerät, das genau das kann was es soll
- Softwarebugs noch und noch, erstes Gerät gleich defekt
Der Akku hält schön lange durch, ich habe das Gerät jetzt ca. 1 Monat und lese täglich ca. 30 Minuten. Der Batteriestand hat bisher einen von fünf Strichen verloren.
Die Verbindung mit Linux (Ubuntu 10.04) funktioniert sofort plug&play. Das Gerät wird als Wechseldatenträger im Dateibrowser angezeigt.
Das Schriftbild ist gut leserlich und in der Größe variabel. Leider kann man keine weiße Schrift auf schwarzem Hintergrund einschalten.
Die Anzeige auf dem Display kann um 90° manuell gedreht werden. (Kein Lagesensor)
Leider hat das Gerät einige Kinderkrankheiten. Mein erstes Gerät ist beim blättern alle 2-3- Seiten eingefroren, wurde aber innerhalb weniger Tage umgetauscht. Beim neuen Gerät war diese Problem nicht mehr vorhanden.
Wenn die Blättern-Taste schnell nacheinander gedrückt wird, hängt das Gerät für einige Sekunden.
Nach invertieren der Seite kann man die alte Seite schwach noch sehen (Ghosting).
Führt man an einem Dokument Text-Reflow durch, werden Grafiken nur noch angezeigt, wenn Sie eine ganze Seite umfassen. Im Text eingebettete Grafiken werden nur mit Hilfe von Platzhaltern angezeigt.
Werden Dokument in Ordnerstrukturen auf dem Gerät abgelegt, werden keine Unterordner angezeigt, bzw in der Bibliothek eingelesen. Ordner anlegen ist generell möglich.
Das Kopieren von SD-Card auf den internen Speicher ist leider nicht selbsterklärend.
Das Gerät sollte eigentlich in Standby versetzt werden können, durch drücken des Einschaltknopfes für 3 Sekunden, dies klappt bei mir nur in den seltensten Fällen. Entweder passiert nichts oder das Gerät ist ganz ausgegangen.
