I don´t know why somebody says "not good for resource-intensive applications and games" - I´ve tested enough resource-intensive applications and all of them were running very smooth.
I don´t know why somebody says "Comparison with SGS believe incorrect" - because why we can compare HTC One X with SGS3, but cannot compare LG Optimus 4X with SGS3 and/or HTC One X.
So here is my opinion: best option for price-quality relationship. This phone has all the advantages HTC One X but this phone doesn´t have all shortcoming which are inherent in HTC One X.

The case perfectly assembled and squeaks only when much twist. The metal edging gives wholeness. The screen is excellent, all natural and bright. Ribbed back cover and sides do not give the phone to slip out of hand. Lightweight and thin. NFC, Wifi, BT, gps works fine. The camera is good in photos and in videos. Speaker volume is enough. Removable battery and a slot for MRD, as well as the usual sim is a plus in front of rivals
Disadvantages:
Heated in active use, no separate camera button, the high price

- Schneller quadcore Prozessor, schickes Design, langlebiger akku
- kaum Möglichkeiten zur Anpassung, da geschlossener bootloader.
Trotz dieses großen mankos bereue ich den Kauf des Handys kein Stück. Es ist appsolut empfehlenswert ;)

- Лучшая из нынешних 4-х ядерников эргономика, дизайн, нормальная симкарта, разъем под микросд, съемная батарея хорошей емкости, производительность, "плюшки" от LG.
- Звук вызывного динамика хуже(тише), чем у конкурентов, чуть хуже камера.

- Отличный телефон. По характеристикам не уступает новому нексусу, но значительно выигрывает в плане цены.
- Лоченый bootloader и Android 4.0.3. Жду обновления до 4.1.2 и разлока бутлодера
К вопросу о динамике и камере: проблема не "железная", тут всё дело в драйверах стоковой прошивки. Разлочат бутлодер - будут кастомные прошивки, а пока можно поправить положение с помощью доп софта, которого в интернете море.

- Отлично сбалансированный телефон, по отличной цене. Стильный дизайн, кнопка "домой" сенсорная - не нравиться на гелэекси мне физическая кнопка )))
- Поддержка со стороны в плане обновления андроида и прошивку хромает...
