- Günstiger Preis viel Ausstattung; Dokumenteinzug
Besonders wichtig für mich war die WLAN-Funktion, welche sich sehr leicht über das übersichtlich gestaltete Menü am Drucker selbst konfigurieren lässt. Wer kein WLAN hat kann auch sehr komfortabel die LAN-Funktion nutzen und kann so von jedem PC im Haushalt auf diesen Drucker zugreifen.
Mit der mitgelieferten Software lassen sich auch Bilder und Dokumente sehr leicht von jedem PC im Haushalt einscannen.
Es ist sogar möglich dem Drucker eine Emailadresse zuzuweisen. Dieser schreibt dann an eine voreingestellte Emailadresse wenn die Patronen getauscht werden müssen. Man kann dem Drucker auch eine Email an seine Adresse mit Bild im Anhang senden, welches er direkt nach Emailabruf ausdruckt. Diese Funktion ist jedoch nicht von Haus aus mit dabei sondern muss nachinstalliert werden.
Ein weiteres wichtiges Kaufargument ist das sehr günstige Verbrauchsmaterial für Brotherdrucker. Die Originaltinte hat einen angemessen Preis. Es gibt jedoch deutlich günstigere Tinte, hierbei handelt es sich aber nicht um die Originaltinte.
Nicht zu vernachlässigen ist die Funktion als Faxgerät. Der Faxempfang spielt heute durch Email zwar keine große Rolle mehr, aber durch das ein oder andere Kündigungsschreiben habe ich die Faxfunktion zu schätzen gelernt. Gerade für die Faxfunktion ist der Dokumenteinzug ein nettes Feature um Zeit zu sparen. Auch Vielkopierer dürften hier ihre Freude haben.
Ein kleiner Nachteil ist die fehlende Duplexfunktion. Da man diese Funktion aber um diese Preisklasse nicht erwarten kann und man sowieso schon sehr viel für wenig Geld bekommt gibt es von mir die vollen 5 Sterne.
