Den Ausschlag für das Platimax gaben einige Testberichte, die dem Netzteil eine ungewöhnlich gute Stabilität der Ausgangsspannungen in allen Lebenslagen attestieren. Lastwechsel, Impulse aus dem Netz - das alles kann das Platimax-Netzteil nicht aus der Ruhe bringen.
Das Netzteil kommt in einer eher grossen Box mit je einem Kabel für Pata (1* Floppy, 4*Molex), für Sata (4-Anschlüsse) und für die Grafikkarte. Wer einen Server bauen will, kann zusätzliche Kabel direkt bei BTS aka enermax24.de bestellen (und leider nicht bei Computeruniverse), wobei wohl am ehesten EMC019 (4*Sata) oder EMC021 (2*Molex+2*Sata) infrage kommen. Ansonsten liegt dem Netzteil noch ein kleines Säckchen bei, dessen Sinn sich mir nicht so recht erschliessen will.
Das Finish des Netzteils ist hübsch (bei dem Preis - aber hallo!). Der Blick ins innere zeigt absolut sauber aufgebaute Industrieelektronik. Das Kabelmanagement ist OK. Allerdings braucht man wegen der Stecker vor dem Netzteil einige Zentimeter zusätzlichen Platz. In meinem Fall muss ich die Kabel schon ziemlich biegen, damit sie vor der Wasserpumpe die Kurve kriegen... Aber das ist wohl ein system-immanentes Problem des Kabelmanagements.
Fazit: Top-Netzteil zum Premium-Preis.
