Die XPS 2.080 DJ Monitor Lautsprecher wurden unter Zuhilfenahme von Spezialisten aus der DJing-Welt entwickelt und ausgedehnten Studien von Audio-Profis unterworfen. Die Ingenieure von Hercules haben bei der Entwicklung der XPS 2.080 DJ Monitor Lautsprecher im firmeneigenen professionellen Schallraum (reflexionsfreier Raum) größte Sorgfalt walten lassen. Dadurch wurde ihnen die Feineinstellung der Kevlaroberfläche der Mittenlautsprecher und der Seidenkalotte der Tweeter und die Optimierung der Position, der Größen und Formen der Baßreflex-Öffnungen, aber auch die Kalkulation des optimalen Krümmungswinkels der Satellitenvorderseiten - um klare und ausbalancierte Tonwiedergabe zu gewährleisten - ermöglicht.

- Exciting clear and transparent sound at the middle and treble
- Some moderate bass boom mainly due to a non-perfect room acoustics
Design looks fine and stylish.
Generally it´s definitely much better in most of aspects than almost any inexpensive PC-speakers for similar price.
Just one thing may be improved - there is some moderate bass boom mainly due to a non-perfect room acoustics.
I resolved this issue easily by simplest way - I use the foobar free player with DSP feature of 30 bands graphic equaliser that allow me to reduce level of narrow booming band it´s in the critical range of 100...125 Hz., but it does not disturb absolutely the rest nice bass sounds. Such smart feature allows the speakers to produce a brilliant sounding, especially keeping in mind theirs funny pricing :)
