- Schnelle Platte, problemlos in MS Windows 7, Durchdachtes Gesamtkonzept
- Nicht als mobile Festplatte geeignet (großes Gehäuse + externes Netzteil)
Die theoretischen Leistungsdaten haben eine schnelle Arbeitsweise versprochen, was die Platte durchaus halten konnte, zumindest gefühlt. Es gibt keine Probleme beim Einsatz unter Microsoft Windows 7. Lediglich die Sicherheits-Berechtigungen für den Nutzer des Datenträgers mussten noch gesetzt werden.
Zusätzliche Extra´s wie automatische Abschaltung (Stromsparmodus) und Software für automatische Hintergrund-Backups sind zeitgemäß. Wir haben leider noch keine Rückmeldung von unserem Nutzer, wie gut das automatische Backup funktioniert.
Das schicke Design mit der dezenten LED für den Betriebszustand und der gute Preis sind weitere positiv zu erwähnende Punkte.
Schade ist, dass die Platte aufgrund ihrer Größe nicht für den häufigen Transport taugt.
Durch die hohen Aussenmaße und das externe Netzteil findet sie keinen Platz in einer herkömmlichen Notebooktasche.
Fazit: Gut zur Einzelplatz-Datensicherung, aber eingeschränkte Mobilität
