- -Caps from the lens easy to lose. Only manual-focus during video recording, which is quite inconvenient. -Flash is rather weak -The image on the camera itself is darker than when viewed on a computer

- Langsamer Autofocus im LiveView Modus
Lediglich das schwenkbare Display ist ein wirkliches Novum, das in der Praxis leider nicht seinen vollen Nutzen entfalten kann, da im LiveView Modus der Autofokus sehr lange benötigt um scharf zu stellen. Benutzt man zur Motivauswahl den Sucher, ist der Fokus aber blitzschnell und in Verbindung mit dem Kitobjektiv auch sehr leise.
Darüber hinaus lassen sich mit der Kamera wie beim Vorgänger natürlich sehr gute Bilder schießen. Die neu gestaltete Anordnung der Funktionstasten kommt einem dabei entgegen. Ausschließlich die ISO-Taste ist etwas unpraktisch positioniert, was dazu führt, dass man diese vor allem in Verbindung mit den Trageriemen nicht optimal erreicht.
Die Kamera macht trotz ihres Plastikgehäuses einen wertigen Eindruck. Es sind weder Klappern noch Knarzen zu hören und auch die restliche Verarbeitung lässt kaum Wünsche offen.
Der Lieferumfang entspricht dem typischen Startset für eine Spiegelreflexkamera. Das Objektiv ist für ein Kitobjektiv ganz anständig, kann aber natürlich nicht mit gehobeneren Optiken mithalten. Es ist zu betonen, dass sich keine Speicherkarte im Lieferumfang befindet, sodass man beim Kauf direkt eine entsprechende Karte (8 oder 16GB sind schon angebracht) mitbestellen sollte. Fazit: Die Kamera ist ein guter Nachfolger der EOS 550D, kann allerdings nur wirkliche Verbesserungen in den Detaillösungen bieten. Große Quantensprünge zum Vorgänger gibt es nicht, weshalb ich jedem nur raten kann, sich auch die EOS550D genauer anzusehen und vielleicht das Geld, das die 600D mehr kostet in gutes Equipement oder ein zusätzliches Objektiv zu investieren.

- gutes, fast frei bewegliches Display., sehr gute Bedienbarkeit - verständlich mit vielen Möglichkeiten, liegt gut in der Hand
- die Display-Rückseite aus Hartplastik ist schelcht zu reinigen - Nasenabdrücke!
Bildqualität klasse, das Kit-Objektiv ist auch brauchbar - ausgewogene Kombination von Body und Objektiv, das natürlich aus 100% Plastik (hoffentlich nicht die Linsen!) besteht.
Die Bedienung ist einfach, leicht verständliche Menuführung, nur der ISO-Knopf direkt hinter dem Stellrad nervt. Umstellung dadurch richtig fummelig, fast nur mit 2 Händen machbar. Ich hab aber auch dicke Finger :-)
Der Spiegel ist reichlich laut, aber bauartlich bedingt gibts ja bei allen Herstellern ein Geräusch. Fazit: Ideale Kamera für den Hobby-Fotografen, die auch bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen stimmige Bilder generiert und hinreichend Einstellmöglichkeiten für den kreativen Eingriff bietet.
