- New processor 400 Mhz, AC-3, DTH, DTH-HD hardvare decoding, System FAN
- 10/100MBit LAN (GB-LAN has to be), S/PDIF optical (coax much better)
New processor 400 Mhz (the same DM500HD) - 800SE is much faster than 800HD PVR
MPEG-2 / H.264 Hardware decoding - now you can play .avi, .mkv files - But remember, this is not a mediatank - this is SAT receiver ))
DTH, DTH-HD hardvare decoding - not at DM800HD
New slot for an internal 2,5" SATA hard disk - much better than at DM800HD.
System FAN - for me it´s very important. I have to use TITAN cooling pad with my old DM800HD
Much better DVB-T tuner work - no problem with switching between sattelits with my DISEq
10/100MBit compatible Ethernet Interface - today 2011 year it has to be GB-LAN ))
Fazit: If you are looking for receiver to watch HDTV SAT channels - DM800SE the best gear
