The Speedlight SB-700 offers multiple functions with simple operation in a compact size. While the majority of digital-SLR cameras are equipped with a built-in flash, as these built-in flashes are only able to light a subject from one side and angle, user creativity and expression is strictly limited. External flash units are tools for increasing creativity by maximizing lighting possibilities. However, many users still find external flash units difficult to use and think of them only as a way to capture images of dark or dimly scenes.

So that even those inexperienced with external flash units may enjoy the benefits of more creative lighting, Nikon has developed the easy-to-use SB-700. The SB-700 has been so well received by professional and advanced amateur digital-SLR camera users, in a smaller size. This makes the multi-functional SB-700 extremely easy to use, even for beginners. The SB-700 readily responds to the needs of Nikon digital-SLR camera users with a broad range of skills who want to increase their individual power of expression through photographs that make the most of light.

  • High-end model functions in a compact body
The SB-700 is equipped with wireless lighting capability, a feature that is indispensable to creative lighting. However, a condensed form of this function has been built into the SB-700, which is also equipped with accessories such as a bounce card and a diffusion dome.
  • User interface with intuitive operation
A control layout and LCD panel design that make operating and applying settings simple, even for beginners, have been adopted. All settings can be applied in just three easy steps, and the LCD panel display is clear and easy to understand for intuitive operation.
  • Quick wireless control mode enables simple control of flash output for two remote flash groups
This is a feature that allows the master flash (SB-700) to control flash output levels for flash units assigned to two remote groups, making multiple flash photography setup simple.
  • A function that automatically detects and controls increases in the temperature of the flash head
The flash head is equipped with an internal temperature sensor that controls and suppresses significant increase in the temperature of the flash head that may occur in situations such as uninterrupted firing of the flash with wide-angle shooting to prevent damage to the flash panel.
  • Automatic detection and identification of dedicated hard color filters attached to the flash head
The color filters supplied with the SB-700 have been modified from the gel filters supplied with previous Speedlights to a hard type for greater durability, heat resistance, and ease of use. In addition, when one of these filters is attached to the flash head, the SB-700 automatically identifies it and transmits information to the camera for the optimal white balance setting.

  • intuitive Bedienbarkeit, kompakte Abmessungen, hochwertige Verarbeitung

So gewährleistet z.

  • - A compact, comfortable, lightweight - Great equipment with saddlebags, scattering and color filters - FP Sync - Build quality and materials - Budget to the batteries (especially in manual mode)
  • No information about the battery charge
I used the SB900 and short SB600. As I have written, pleasantly surprising flash equipment. High-quality storage bag, two filter, diffuser and foot. Plastic film optical filters are not as complete with SB900 and use them much more convenient than the filters of plenki.U SB700 collected all the big sister (SB900) which CLS, Highspeedsync, Advanced Wireless Lighting. Still there is a very significant change from SB600, the use of Flash as a Master, that is, to set fire to other outbreaks. Using the SB700 as the master easier than, say SB900 due to the smaller size and weight, and convenient built-in flash as the SB700 head can be rotated. Very pleased with the concept of flash control, the same as that of the SB900, even in some cases have been made for improvement. To change the illumination patterns have a separate switch, as in the SB900 and other important settings can be changed quickly without using the menu. When using a flash CPU recognizes the focal length ... read more

  • Budget to the batteries (especially in manual mode). Build quality and materials. FP Sync. Great equipment with saddlebags, scattering and color filters. compact and easy.
  • totters on D7000.
I bought a Nikon D7000 instead Nissin Di-466. In Nissin Di-466 did not like not swivel head and the lack of FP sync. First thought, when put to the camera: "Damn, what the hell she dangles." Play very spoiled first impression. The flash is not heavy, very well assembled, tightly soundly from plastic, in the hands of squeaks, convenient lock the battery compartment. Very pleased with the rich equipment flash. Sufficient power for reliable shooting in a room with high ceilings, embarrassing blunders than Nissin not. FP works, but the flash is strong enough to lose power. While using batteries Duracell Turbo - the machine is enough for 300 -400 frame leisurely shooting. Recharging a new set of instant, at the end of a long time, now pick up the charger and batteries.
Summary: Flash for advanced amateur, for starters, there are options from other manufacturers (which is easier and cheaper), but for the "pros" of the same high-end solutions Nissin well or SB910 (which is rarely possible to be in demand in amateur photography, and the price is high).
