Daher gestaltet sich auch die Montage relativ einfach. Dass das dafür erforderliche USB-Kabel schwerer als das Gerät selbst zu sein scheint, spricht für sich. Daher bereitet – wenn überhaupt das Kabel, das noch dazu sehr steif ist, Probleme beim Anbringen der Cam oberhalb des Bildschirms.
Zwar ist dem Produkt eine Software-CD beigefügt, unter Vista startet die Installation nach erstmaligem Einstöpseln allerdings automatisch und kann praktischerweise manuell angepasst werden, sodass der PC nicht mit unnötiger Software bepackt wird.
Nun zum wichtigsten: Die Bild- und Tonqualität überzeugt durch die Bank. Die Zeiten in denen Artefakten und Tonrauschen hingenommen werden mussten, scheinen definitiv der Vergangheit anzugehören. Man könnte kritisieren, dass die Lichtanpassung bei schnellen Bewegungen etwas träge reagiert, jedoch werden ruckartige Bewegungen bei den typischen Einsatzgebieten, wie beispielsweise Videotelefonie und dergleichen ohnehin die Ausnahme bilden.
Insgesamt betrachtet handelt es sich um eine klasse Webcam mit einem angemessenen Preis. Fazit: Klasse Webcam mit angemessenem Preis.

- Gute Qualität der Fotos und Videos, Gute Software und Treiber
Mittels zwei Scharnieren lässt sich die Webcam einfach an unterschiedlichen Monitoren befestigen. Ein seitliches Drehen ist nicht möglich.
Die Webcam ist angenehm klein.
Die Logitech WebCam Software ist übersichtlich gestaltet und beinhaltet die wichtigsten Funktionen zum Aufnehmen von Fotos und Videos sowie zum Veröffentlichen auf YouTube und Facebook und Versenden als E-Mail. Die Webcam wurde sofort von Skype und Windows Live Messenger erkannt. Fazit: Ich hatte zuvor eine etwa 3 bis 4 Jahre alte Webcam von Logitech. Mit dieser erschienen die Fotos und Videos sehr dunkel. Die neue Webcam liefert ein klares und flüssiges Bild mit gutem Kontrast, guter Helligkeit und Farbintensität, wobei man diese auch manuell einstellen kann. Auch das integrierte Mikrofon überzeugt.
Ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

- flakey stand, mine tends to drop the signal
However, now this may be just my camera?, well mine tends to ocassionaly drop the signal (image dissappers) for just a second, so no huge deal, but still not exactly perfect. Tried it on two different PCs so I know its not realted to the PC or soft. May just be mine though, who knows. Id return it, but not worth it really.
Ok now a con Im sure is not just with mine, the stand is pretty flakey, it holds it up there, but not exactly firm, it tends to tilt over time and I have to readjust it.

Im Lieferumfang gehört ein Handbuch und eine Installations-CD die Übersichtlich ist und alles beinhaltet was man braucht. Die Software muss man nicht installieren wenn man nicht unbedingt alles Funktionen nutzen will.
Die Webcam bietet viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, die Automatische-Gesichtserkennung habe ich aber ausgeschaltet weil diese nach einiger Zeit nervt. Fazit: Da ich schon mehrere Webcams hatte muss ich sagen, dass diese von Logitech bisher meine Beste ist. Ich würde diese wieder kaufen.

Ich benutze das Gerät mit Skype. Bild ist 1a, Sound (sagen die Ansprechpartner) auch tadellos. Befestigen lässt sich überal, mit ein bischen Geschick und nicht zu lange Nägel.
Die Software ist für mein Geschmack zu aufwendig. Muss man nicht unbedingt installieren, aber auch ohne, funktionieren tut es trotzdem. Fazit: Ich bin happy!
