51-point AF system Corporation Nikon, practically does not miss the object of focus. RGB metering terrific! Many virtues, I will not enumerate all, it is worth, however, mention that the administration, unlike the D80, for example, differs separate buttons and switches are very comfortable to control. Continuous shooting up to 8 frames per second. Almost no mistakes in WB metering in automatic mode. Fully working ISO 1600, after my D80 seemed incredible! Intellectually friendly menu options. True, the manual for 402 pages to read all the same necessary. Very comfortable to hold in your hand! When installing the power supply handle vertical, rather heavy, but feels in his body reliability! Picked up the D300s - lay in his hand as though he was always there! It is very convenient division of labor between the two flash cards SD and CF. Metering chamber supports MANUAL (not predefined) Nikon lenses series Ai and Ai-s. Fazit: D300s impressed me with their work when properly configured! The camera is not for beginners, it should really work with his hands, only then will you every opportunity!

- Schweres ,robustes Gehäuse, Funktionen lassen sich auch direkt über Tasten belegen, logische Menueführung
- ohne Batteriegriff langsame Bildrate, fummelige Gummiabdeckung für usb
Da hat man nicht so ein zitzeliges Plasteteil in der Hand ,sondern was Gescheites.
Wenn man viel mit der Kamera unterwegs ist ,weiß man die Tatsache zu schätzen,daß viele Funktionen auf Tasten direkt zu belegen sind,sodaß Blättern im Menue entfällt und wenn es dochmal sein muß,lassen sich Favoriten definieren und man ist schnell da wo man sein will.
Zur Videofunktion würde ich sagen ,ja braucht eigentlich kein Schwein an einer Dslr,im übrigen ist es ziemlich schlecht ,wenn man während des Filmens am Objektiv zoomt und dann das Geräusch davon hört. Fazit: Ich würde diese Kamera jederzeit wieder kaufen!
