- Preiswert und akzeptabler Ton
- Wirkt sehr billig und fühlt sich auch so an, Umständliche Bedienung
Die Installation hat mich zwar ein wenig Mühe gekostet, aber nach ein paar Anläufen lief dann alles. Ich denke aber das die Installation doch jemand machen sollte der sich mit Netzwerk, uPnP & Co. auskennt. Meine Eltern währen damit überfordert!
Der Klang ist für ein Gerät der Preisklasse ok, aber mehr als die Küche würd ich damit nicht beschallen. Streaming über uPnP ist zwar möglich, die Navigation in Musikbibliotheken ist mit den Bedienelementen und dem kleinen Display aber extrem umständlich. Das macht keinen Spaß. Die Suche nach Internetradios leidet auch unter dem kleinen Display.
Fazit: Lieber mehr ausgeben!

Das Radio wird mit einer kreditkartengroßen Fernbedienung sowie einer recht guten Bedienungsanleitung ausgeliefert. Leider ist das Radio ausschließlich für WLAN ausgelegt - eine zusätzlicher LAN-Anschluss wäre nett gewesen. An sich problemlos: Das Radio ermittelt nach dem Einschalten alle vorhandene Netzwerke und fragt die notwendigen Passworte ab. Auch ich finde die Eingabe jedes einzelnen Zeichens durch Drehen am Wählknopf und die Bestätigung durch Daraufdrücken bei langen Passworten (wie meinem) ungemein zeitraubend. Das Radio lässt sich problemlos installieren und fünktioniert in meinem WLAN-Netzwerk problemlos. Das Streaming ist in Bezug auf die Geschwindigkeit anderer Geräte, z. B. als Leistungsabfall beim Herunterladen anderer Dateien, im Netzwerk nicht nennenswert wahrzunehmen. Dies empfinde ich als sehr angenehm. Das Radio tut was es soll - und das sehr gut. Das Gerät verfügt über eine handlich kleine Fernbedienung für die wichtigsten Funktionen. Sie verrichtet ordentlich ihren Dienst und erlaubt wesentliche Einstellungen (Sender, Lautstärke etc) vom Sessel (oder Bett) aus. Einfach und schnell: das Gerät sucht vorhandene Netzwerke und fragt auf dem Display nach benötigten Eingaben (wie z.B. Passwörtern). Anschliessend wird die Installation automatisch vollendet. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: alle Eingaben müssen über das zentralen Wählknopf gemacht werden, wobei das Aufsuchen und Eingeben von Buchstaben und Zeichen bei einem langen LAN-Passwort einige Zeit und Geduld bansprucht. Die automatische Installation erfolgte problemlos. Das Radio hatte keine Schwierigkeiten, sich mit dem Rooter abzugleichen, Der eingebaute Lautsprecher hat aber bereits eine gute Klangqualität wenngleich er mit 1,5 Watt ein wenig zu schwach ist, um beispielsweise eine Party zu untermalen. ... read more
