Eine Anschlußanleitung erklärt die wenigen Handgriffe zur Installation der BBU Die mitgelieferte Halterung läßt sich ohne Kraftakt an den Controller anbringen. Sitz fest und stört dank durchdachtem Konzept weder anliegende Karten, noch die Luftzufuhr zum Controller Dank der Trennung der Elektronik und AKKU, ist ein Akkuaustausch im Falle eines Defekts kein teueres Unterfangen. Hier hat der Hersteller mitgedacht! Die Elektronik übernimmt die komplette Stuerung des Akkus und liefert die Daten an den Controller. Selbst die Akkukapazität wird überwacht um vorzeitig vor einem Versagen zu warnen. Auch ein Akkutest per Mausklick ist möglich. Der Zustand der BBU kann bequem per HTTP Interface abgefragt werden. Fazit: Es ist eben nicht nur eine Batterie, die einfach irgendwo angeschlossen wird und auch mal unbemerkt kaputtgeht. Die Elktronik überwacht die Funktion und informiert den Anweder. Das hatte ich erwartet und auch bekommen. TOP!
