So ziemlich alles dabei was man braucht. Habe Stunden gebraucht um rauszukriegen wie man die Daten von T-Online eingibt , da dazu keine Informationen mitgeliefert werden. Gibt es in Deutschland so wenig T-Online User ??? Windows XP + Win98, 1x ISDN 1x Analog Telefon.Linux noch nicht probiert. Jetzt kommts dick. Habe die Horstbox nur wegen den (ich zitiere) "2x USB 2.0 Host Port für USB-Festplatte und USB-Drucker" gekauft. Sonst wäre es wohl eine günstigere Fritzbox geworden.Leider muste ich feststellen, das diese Funktionen erst bei einer späteren Firmware freigeschaltet werden.Doch wann kommt diese Firmware, in 1 Monat oder in einem Jahr??? Fazit: Mit Funktionen werben, die noch nicht freigeschaltet sind ist nicht nur eine Frechheit, sondern schlicht verboten.Auch das die Eingabeparameter für T-Onlinekunden nicht erklärt werden, machen die Installation nicht leichter. Ich bin zurzeit von der Horstbox schwer entäuscht.

- viele Funktionen, sehr guter Lieferumfang
- nicht ganz leichte Konfiguration, ist nicht ganz lautlos
Ein zweiter Nachteil liegt darin, dass die Box ein leises summen hat. Ich nehme an, dass das damit zusammen hängt hängt, dass die Box wahrscheinlich einen aktiven Kühlmechanismus besisitzt. Von daher wäre es Empfehlenswert die Box nicht unbedigt in Arbeitszimmer auf zu bauen. Ich bin sehr feinhörig. Mag sein, dass es jemand anderen nicht stört. Ich finde allerdings, dass es schon hier beschrieben gehört Fazit: Es handelt sich hier um eine multifunktionale Anlage, die von ihren Fähigkeiten keine wünsche übrig lässt. Wichtig ist allerdings, dass man sich Zeit für die Konfiguration nimmt. Mal eben schnell die Anlage in Betrieb nehmen ist hier nicht. MAn sollte sich dafür schon intensiv damit auseinander setzen.
