Sony´s SAL1118 Super Wide-Angle Zoom Lens for the a Digital SLR Camera enables colourful photographic expression, covering a focal point range from super wide-angles of 16.5mm to 27mm (35 mm equivalent).
The SAL1118 Lens uses aspherical lenses and ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass lenses to reduce flare and adequately correct spherical and frame aberrations that trouble shooting in super wide-angle ranges. The beautiful, defocused effect rendered by its circular aperture makes the SAL1118 perfect for capturing nightscapes that contain spot lighting. Its internal focusing system also ensures comfortable auto focus while shooting.

- sehr gute Verarbeitung, kompletter Lieferumfang, ab mittlerer vorhandener Brennweite gute Leistung
- schwache Leistung im unteren Brennweitenbereich, für die Leistung etwas zu teuer, kein AF-Motor
Bei Tamron selbst wurde das Objektiv mittlerweile durch eine Neuentwicklung abgelöst, die einen Brennweitenbereich von 10 bis 24mm abdeckt. Ob Sony sich da mitgehen wird?
Sony liefert das 11-18 gut verpackt im auffallenden typischen orangefarbenden Verpackungs-Design der Alpha-Reihe. Das Objektiv wurde sehr gut verarbeitet, wie man es von Produkten aus dem Hause Sony ja gewohnt ist.
