Alles benötigte vorhanden: Deckeln, Sonnenblende und übersichtliche Beschreibung.Wünschenswert wäre eventuell noch ein Transportköcher oder ähnliches. Problemlos. Passt alles, bis auf die Sonnenblende, die bei vollem Weitwinkel etwas die Ecken abdunkelt. Volle Funktion in Kombination mit einer Olympus E500 Angenehme Ergonometrie, lediglich bei der Sonnenblende in "Ruheposition" ist eine manuelle Scharfstellung nicht möglich und der Zoomring bei Weitwinkelstellung teilweise abgedeckt. Optisch gelungen! Empfehlenswert ist auf jeden Fall ein Polfilter vorzuschalten, schützt die eigentliche Linse vor Beschädigungen und kostet nicht die Welt!! Fazit: Als Urlaubsobjektiv durch den großen Brennweitenbereich optimal geeignet, auch wenn ab und zu etwas mehr Weitwinkel wünschenswert wäre.

Im Gegensatz zu Canon werden alle Objektive bei Olympus mit einer Gegenlichtblende ausgeliefert. Ein "Objektiv-Arritierung" ist vorhanden. Minimale Brennweite nur 18 mm, wünschwert und in der Praxis wichtig wäre aber eine min. Brennweite von 14 mm. Habe auch das Leica 14 -150 mm und die fehlenden 4 mm machen sich in der Praxis sehr deutlich bemerkbar. Fazit: Leider sind die Bilder sehr "soft" (im Vergleich zu meinem Standard-Objektiv Oly 14-54/2.8-3.5). Aber auch das vergleichbare Produkt von Leica 14-150/3.5-5.6 ist - vor allem bei offener Blende - wesentlich "schärfer". Abblenden auf f8 notwendig, um gute Bilder zu erzielen.
