- Stromschwankungen und zeitweiser Stromausfall werden kompensiert, dadurch mehr Datensicherheit
- bei der Installation funkt es, wenn die Batterie angeschlossen wird, keine Mac-Kompatibilität der Stecker
UPS-Gerät, zwei graue Kaltgerätekabel ("power plug" - siehe unten) zur Verbindung von Computern, ein Telefonkabel, ein USB-Kabel, 2 CDs (Treiber und PowerChute-Software), Anleitung, Garantiekarte (alles nur auf englisch)
Anschluss: ein gelber Aufkleber zeigt überdeutlich, wo vor der ersten Benutzung im Gerät die Batterie eingestöpselt werden muss. Dabei funkt es manchmal, das ist normal und kein Grund zur Panik (steht sogar in der Kurzanleitung unter "Replace the internal Battery", was Ihr also vermutlich erst nach der Installation lesen werdet).
Zum Anschluss an das Stromnetz wird ein PC-Netzkabel (Kaltgerätezuleitung) benötigt. Dazu könnt Ihr das vom PC verwenden, er wird dann mit dem grauen Kaltgerätekabel aus dem APC-Karton versorgt.
